Member Safety & Vetting
No Companion appears in a family's bookings until every step below is complete. This isn't a formality — it's why a family abroad can trust someone else to walk through their parents' door.
1. Identity & address verification
Government-issued ID and address proof are checked before onboarding even begins. A candidate does not proceed to the next stage without this being cleared.
2. Background verification certificate
Every Companion completes a background verification check before they become eligible for approval. This is a hard requirement, not a self-declared checkbox.
3. In-person interview
Our team meets each candidate directly — not just a phone screen — to assess their fit for elder care, their communication style, and their judgment in real situations, not only their paperwork.
4. Manual admin approval
A Companion only appears in bookings after Snehito staff have reviewed and approved their complete profile. There is no automatic approval path.
5. Ongoing accountability
Every booking is logged, every review shown on the platform is tied to a real completed visit, and a Companion can be suspended or removed at any time if a concern is raised.
